Dr. Shakil Syed brings over 12 years of dental experience and a deep commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care. A graduate of Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, he combines advanced clinical training with a genuine passion for helping people feel comfortable and confident in the dental chair. His expertise in implant and cosmetic dentistry is backed by completion of the prestigious Maxicourse in Implantology, and he continues to stay at the forefront of modern dental techniques.
Dr. Syed is a proud member of the American Dental Association, the Connecticut State Dental Association, the Massachusetts State Dental Association, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Beyond his professional credentials, he serves as an active member of the U.S. Army Reserve, reflecting his dedication to service both in and outside of dentistry.
When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Syed enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. Together, they love hiking, playing pickleball, and staying active outdoors in every season. Whether he’s working out with his son or attending plays with his daughter, Dr. Syed values the same balance and well-being he encourages in his patients.
