Does Any of This Sound Familiar?
If you recognized yourself in any of these, there are real solutions available. A dental bridge may be the step that changes everything.
What Happens When You Wait?
Shifting Teeth Create New Problems
Surrounding teeth gradually move into the gap, causing alignment and bite issues.
Treatment Gets More Complex
The longer you wait, the more preparation your remaining teeth may need.
Costs Increase Over Time
Delayed treatment often leads to additional procedures and higher overall costs.
Chewing Becomes Harder
Compensating for missing teeth puts extra strain on the rest of your mouth.
Bone Loss Progresses
Without stimulation, the jawbone beneath the gap can begin to deteriorate.
Confidence Keeps Fading
Every month without a solution is another month of holding back your smile.
The sooner you act, the simpler and more affordable your treatment will be.
What Is a Dental Bridge and How Does It Work?
A dental bridge is a fixed restoration that fills the space left by one or more missing teeth. It consists of one or more replacement teeth (called pontics) held in place by crowns attached to the teeth on either side of the gap. Once placed, a bridge restores your bite, supports your facial structure, and prevents surrounding teeth from shifting out of position.
At Berkshire Smile Studio, we design and place dental bridges in Pittsfield using advanced digital scanning and same day CEREC technology. Your bridge is custom crafted from precise digital impressions, which means a better fit, more natural appearance, and fewer appointments compared to traditional methods.

Are Dental Bridges Right for You?
Not Sure If You Qualify?
What to Expect During Your Dental Bridge Procedure
Consultation and Digital Imaging
Your visit begins with a thorough exam and digital scan of your teeth. Using CBCT imaging and our PrimeScan system, we create a detailed 3D model of your mouth. This helps us plan your bridge placement with precision and gives you a clear picture of what your results will look like.
Preparing the Supporting Teeth
We gently reshape the teeth on either side of the gap to create a secure foundation for your bridge. Local anesthesia keeps you comfortable throughout, and our team checks in with you at every stage. Once the teeth are prepared, we take a final digital impression for your custom restoration.
Designing and Crafting Your Bridge
Using our in office CEREC PrimeMill technology, your bridge is designed and milled from a solid block of high quality ceramic right here in our Pittsfield office. This means no messy traditional impressions and, for many patients, no temporary bridge or second appointment.
Placing and Adjusting Your New Bridge
Your custom bridge is bonded securely into place. We carefully check your bite and make fine adjustments so everything feels natural and comfortable. You will leave with a complete smile and clear instructions for keeping your bridge in great shape.
Ready to Restore Your Smile and Your Confidence?
Recovery After Your Dental Bridge Placement
First 24 to 48 Hours
Some mild sensitivity around the prepared teeth is completely normal during the first day or two. Stick to softer foods and avoid very hot or cold beverages. Over the counter pain relief is usually all that is needed, and most patients return to their daily routine the same day.
First Week
Any initial sensitivity fades quickly during the first week. You can gradually return to your normal diet as comfort allows. Brush and floss gently around your new bridge, and avoid sticky or very hard foods while you adjust to the feel of your restoration.
