This was my first experience at Berkshire Smile Studio and it was by far the best dental treatment I have had in years! The front office administration of scheduling appointments, insurance processing and billing were prompt, clear and correct; the skilled dental assistant worked seamlessly with the dentist making me as comfortable as possible in the process. Dr. Shakil Syed, using a caring, gentle chair side manner, evaluated and communicated my treatment plan with confidence and clarity. The treatment itself was fast, painless and perfectly executed! The most current technology and tools were used in all aspects of the visit. Nobody wants to go to the dentist, but if you do, there is no reason to go anywhere else but the Berkshire Smile Studio. I know people who dread going to the dentist. Well, not anymore. One visit to Dr. Shakil Syed’s Berkshire Smile Studio and you will never feel that way again. Dr. Syed is easy to talk with, answers your questions, and explains what you want to know and understand. I had a tooth crowned in a single 1.5-hour visit, without any discomfort at all. His staff is great too. I am so pleased, and I appreciate quality care. Call his office; you’ll be glad you did.

Today, I had my teeth cleaned by Kelly, the hygienist. She did an outstanding job on my teeth, and made the visit enjoyable with her positive sense of humor and great taste in music. I look forward to a long relationship with Dr. SYED and his team.

Dr. Syed and his staff are top notch, knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and extremely competent! They go the extra mile to make people feel comfortable, to ensure that their patients understand what is happening, and what is being done and why. They also listen to their patients and care about patient perspectives. They have successfully helped patients to overcome their fear of the dentist and will take the time needed to provide each patient with a safe, comforting environment. I highly recommend Dr. Syed and his Staff to anyone looking for a new dentist!

Had two cavities filled today. The dentist is kind, patient and gentle. I have been a patient of Dr. Schiff, one of the former dentists/owners of the office for over 35 years. Change is difficult but the new dentist/owner is a good guy and does a good job. I recommend this dentist office to others.

Dr. Shakil Syed has been practicing dentistry for over 12 years and is dedicated to providing exceptional, compassionate care to every patient he serves. A graduate of Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, Dr. Syed combines advanced clinical expertise with a genuine passion for helping people. He is a proud member of the American Dental Association, Connecticut State Dental Association, Massachusetts State Dental Association, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and has completed the prestigious Maxicourse in Implantology.

Beyond the dental office, Dr. Syed is deeply committed to service and volunteerism as an active member of the U.S. Army Reserve. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, hiking, playing pickleball, working out with his son, and attending plays with his daughter. His family embraces an active, balanced lifestyle through outdoor activities in all seasons.
